Let's Turn The Waste Into Billions In Export Revenue
Since 2009, African Import Export Solutions (formerly American AirSea Cargo) has helped thousands of Africans to meet their logistics needs from and to the USA, UK, and China, with a major focus on the Nigerian market. A cost effective solution that transforms losses into wealth enabling governments to recover billions, while creating income for formers and citizens. In 2020, just after the covid epidermic, we noticed a huge demand for African businesses needing to export their products into the USA and we set out to create solutions to enable exports between Africa and the USA. We transform Africa's raw produce into export ready products packaged to USA & Canadian supermarket standards. From farm produce to supermarkets ready packs.
Why Africa Is Losing So Much Money on Food Wastage
Inadequate storage facilities
Many farmers do not have proper storage warehouses, silos, or cold rooms. As a result, harvested food spoils quickly before it even reaches the market.
Poor logistics and transportation
Bad roads, lack of trucks, and high transport costs make it hard to move food from farms to cities. Sometimes, food gets damaged on the way or never makes it to buyers on time.
Lack of processing and value addition
Instead of turning crops into processed goods like flour, juice, or dried products, most food is sold raw. This makes it rot faster since raw produce has a shorter shelf life.
Weak packaging standards
Many farmers and traders use poor-quality bags, baskets, or containers. These do not protect food from damage, dirt, or moisture, leading to faster spoilage.
Pest and disease infestation
Insects, rodents, and plant diseases attack harvested crops. Without proper protection and treatment, a large amount of food gets wasted.
Limited local consumption vs. production capacity
Sometimes farmers produce more than what local communities can eat. With little access to export markets or preservation methods, the extra food goes to waste.
Climate fluctuations
Unpredictable rains, droughts, and floods affect harvest quality. Extreme heat also makes it harder to keep food fresh, causing spoilage.
Lack of farmer training
Many farmers are not trained in modern farming, storage, and preservation methods. Without knowledge of better techniques, they lose a lot of food after harvest.

The orders keeps coming and coming that we had to start expanding our production capacity. It's good to earn in dollars and AIES has done very well to help indigenous business and also help to get finance to do the business. AIES knows how to manage you to get you where you want to be."
Mrs. cecelia udoye ~ cEO kEW gARDENS
"I am a fish farmer & I have been in this line of business for 2 years. In the first year of my business, I lost over 5 million naira using other logistics companies. It takes 2 weeks to a month for my clients in the USA to get deliveries, and by that time, the fish would have gone bad, but since I started doing business with Africanies, I get timely delivery in 2-5 working days, which helped me regain customers that I lost. Instead of making losses, I have been able to expand my business."
Mr. Omiyale George ~ GOODSOIL ROYAL FARMS
